Lantern Festival 2012 @ Chinese Garden

Открылся Lantern festival в китайском саду.

The Lantern Festival 2012 at Chinese Garden will be open to public from 7 Sep to 7 Oct, 9am to 11pm daily. Ticket cost is $8.00 (Child), $12.00 (Adult).

Attractions are as follow:
 
- 15 Gigantic Lantern Exhibition Props such as The Little Matchstick Girl, Brave act of Si Ma Guang, Little Magic Painter, The Frog Prince etc (Western
 & Chinese fairy tales) inclusive of 2 areas using recycled materials (E.g. Windmill made of fan blade & Humming bird/butterfly using solar energy to
 light up.
 
- Short performance daily 8pm at the main stage (Dragon & Phoenix Court) by Cultural & Acrobatic performers specially invited from Sichuan, China.
 
- 6 to 8 Cultural Stalls (Artists specially invited from China). E.g. Rainbow Calligraphy, Malt Candy Drawing, Paper Cutting etc.
 
- Carnival Funland (eg. Amusement Kiddy Rides, Inflatable Bouncers, Carnival Game Stalls)
 
- 3-minute fireworks at 9pm every Sat and Sun, with a special 5-minute fireworks display on 30 Sep.
