Fedor_Art, ... PhD можно делать by coursework (как student) и by research (как research scholar) ...
Legal spouse of a full-time matriculated student studying in an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) (e.g. Nanyang Technological University etc. ) may be considered for Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP). The LTVP provides the spouse to reside here for a longer duration during the tenure of the student’s studies in Singapore. Every application, including the duration of the LTVP granted is assessed carefully and holistically, based on its own merits.
The LTVP application may be submitted through a local sponsor for our consideration. The local sponsor can be the Student’s Pass holder’s IHL (subject to their agreement) or by any individual who is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident aged 21 years old and above. Please note that both the applicant and local sponsor (if individually sponsored by a SC or SPR) is required to be present at the point of application over the service counters at Visitors Services Centre, 4th Storey of ICA Building, with the relevant supporting documents.
If subsequently the spouse is issued with a LTVP and secures a job offer in Singapore, his/her potential employer is required to apply for him / her a relevant work pass from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) before he/she commences work. For more information on work / work passes related matters, please refer to MOM website at
http://www.mom.gov.sg .
All applications for Singapore immigration facilities are given due consideration. Each application is assessed holistically and on its own merits.
